I haven't blogged for so long that it feels awkward to even do it again, but I think it's a good thing to try to preserve a little of what we are living right now so we can look over it later, so I'm going to try again.

We just bought our first home. We love it. It's a lot of work and it has a long way to go before it is everything that it was meant to be, but we just love it. We felt like we were lead here. Like it was meant to be ours. Like it needed us, and we needed it. It fits us perfectly. It's everything we hoped for, and a few things we didn't dare hope for.

And before we could make the first payment on it, James was dis-employed.
