Halloween this year was a many party event! It all started Sat with a party with some friends and then the Halloween parade on Main St. (Sometimes small town life is fun!) Then Tuesday was the GSK pizza party and trick or treat. Somehow when the real Halloween came, the kids still didn't think they had enough!
There were some interesting highlights from their trick or treating adventures. Kelsie got to trick or treat at her kindergarten teacher's house (she was so excited!) And at one of the houses they went to, they were giving Ty Beanie Babies as treats! At another house they got full size Costco sports drinks, and someone else gave them mini jack o lanterns.
We weren't sure how many trick or treaters to expect, so I had James pick up some extra candy on his way home from work. Lets just say Santa may be filling stockings with Smarties.

Tara, I'm loving that picture of the kids sitting on the floor with all of their loot! Isn't that the classic Halloween scene.. . dump out the stash, take inventory, and then the best part- let the bargaining begin! I'm glad you had a fun Halloween. By the way, Courtney said he served in Missoula, which he thought would have been the closest to Hamilton? He was also in Thompson Falls/Plains area for a while and in Columbia Falls for over a year. He finished up in Great Falls.
They look so cute! They will be on a sugar high for a while with all that candy!
The kids look great! Don't you just love getting them all dressed up?! I also loved Griffin's cookie man story a couple posts ago! So funny. He is a clever kid.
Hi Tara, this is Caroline. Nope, my cousin's name isn't really Bumble, it's MaryJane. But, last year whenever we watched Rudolph, she just LOVED the abominable snowman, whose name is Bumble . . . the rest is history.
