We feel very blessed because James was officially offered a job this week.
We feel very perplexed because it is in Spokane.
We don't know quite what to do with that. Here we are just past four months since we signed papers on our new 'dream' home, smack in the middle of the million different projects that need to be finished to undo all of the neglect that it has suffered, and very much in love with this home, this area, this ward...
But it's like my dad counseled us this last week, "you gotta go where the buffalo are".
So for now, the kids and I will be here in Kennewick, going to school, and trying to get the house ready to sell, and James will be in Spokane, working at what should be a very exciting new job, and staying with my parents.
The weekends are going to start being a really big deal around here.

I am sorry that you weren't able to find a job here in the tri-cities. We'll miss getting together with you. But I'm glad you'll still be close by, Spokane really isn't that bad. :)
Tara, so many changes!! I'm sorry about having to sell your dream home, but I bet you'll fine another great place in Spokane. I'm with your Dad, you gotta follow the buffalo. :) And congrats to James for finding something so quickly... it's rough out there right now. Good luck to you with the hard work ahead... I know you can do it! I'll keep you in my prayers.
